Arcata

Northern California

Arcata is one of the most interesting towns I have ever been to do street photography. It felt like being on a movie set where the background actors were all dressed in "modern day" hippie costumes pretending to smoke weed, although they were not pretending. To me, it felt like Arcata is the kind of place where anyone who has ever felt out of place, has gone to live and suddenly feels right at home. Arcata is the home to anyone who doesn't feel at home anywhere else. I really enjoyed my time there.
